1. Introduction

Welcome to the Post-Booking & Post-Ticketing Service Fee Policy of FarezSphere, an independent online travel agency operated by Trip Contrast LLC.

This policy explains the professional service fees that may apply when customers request additional assistance after a flight ticket has been issued or an eligible car rental or cruise reservation has been confirmed.

Our travel services are supported by contracted suppliers, airline ticketing consolidators, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), travel APIs, and other applicable reservation channels.

After a reservation is completed, customers may require assistance with itinerary changes, cancellations, ticket reissuance, refund requests, travel credits, passenger information corrections, or other reservation-related matters.

Some of these requests require additional professional work, supplier coordination, fare-rule analysis, or manual reservation processing.

Where FarezSphere charges a separate professional service fee, the amount and scope of the service will be disclosed before the customer authorizes the charge.

Important: FarezSphere service fees are separate from charges imposed by airlines, consolidators, car rental providers, cruise operators, and other suppliers, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory refund rights, accessibility rights, or other consumer protections under applicable law.

2. General Principles of Post-Ticketing Assistance

Customers may contact FarezSphere after completing a reservation for services such as:

  • Flight date and time changes
  • Flight itinerary modifications
  • Ticket exchanges and reissuance
  • Voluntary flight cancellations
  • Refund eligibility assistance
  • Airline travel credit assistance
  • Passenger name corrections
  • Special fare-rule inquiries
  • Airline waiver requests
  • No-show recovery assistance
  • Complex multi-airline itinerary changes
  • Optional airline service requests
  • Car rental reservation modifications
  • Cruise reservation modifications
  • Other eligible travel-related assistance

Some services may be available directly through the relevant airline or supplier.

FarezSphere's separate service fees apply only where the requested paid agency service is offered, disclosed, and authorized.

3. Disclosure and Customer Authorization

Before charging a post-booking or post-ticketing service fee, FarezSphere will:

  1. Explain the service being requested.
  2. Identify the applicable FarezSphere professional service fee.
  3. Explain known airline or supplier charges where relevant.
  4. Disclose material conditions and restrictions.
  5. Obtain the customer's required authorization before processing the additional charge.

Authorization for the original reservation does not constitute unlimited authorization for future transactions.

FarezSphere will not charge an undisclosed post-booking fee merely because a customer previously purchased travel through our website.

4. FarezSphere Fees and Supplier Charges

Customers should distinguish between two types of charges.

FarezSphere Professional Service Fees

These are charges imposed by Trip Contrast LLC for separately requested, eligible agency services.

Examples may include manual itinerary research, voluntary ticket exchanges, complex rebooking assistance, or supplier waiver requests.

Third-Party Supplier Charges

These are amounts established by the relevant travel provider.

Examples may include:

  • Airline fare differences
  • Airline change penalties
  • Additional government taxes
  • Airline ancillary charges
  • Supplier processing fees
  • Rental provider penalties
  • Cruise operator cancellation charges
  • Additional cruise fare
  • Other supplier-imposed amounts

Where both types of charges apply, they will be identified before the customer authorizes the transaction.

Flight Post-Ticketing Service Fees

5. Voluntary Flight Cancellation Assistance Within 24 Hours

Where FarezSphere offers separately chargeable agent-assisted cancellation of an eligible flight reservation within 24 hours of booking, the following proposed maximum professional service fees may apply.

Flight CategoryFarezSphere Service Fee
Domestic EconomyUp to $75 per passenger, per ticket
International EconomyUp to $100 per passenger, per ticket
Domestic Business or First ClassUp to $100 per passenger, per ticket
International Business or First ClassUp to $100 per passenger, per ticket

The availability of cancellation or a refund within 24 hours depends on the actual booking conditions, the applicable supplier, and governing law.

The U.S. Department of Transportation's 24-hour airline reservation rule does not automatically apply in the same manner to every independent travel agency booking.

Where a customer is entitled to a no-fee cancellation or refund under applicable law or an expressly offered booking benefit, FarezSphere will honor those conditions.

6. Flight Cancellation With Future Travel Credit

Where the applicable airline permits voluntary cancellation in exchange for a future travel credit, FarezSphere may provide agent-assisted processing.

Flight CategoryFarezSphere Service Fee
Domestic EconomyUp to $75 per passenger, per ticket
International EconomyUp to $75 per passenger, per ticket
Domestic Business ClassUp to $100 per passenger, per ticket
International Business or First ClassUp to $100 per passenger, per ticket

Airline travel credits may be subject to expiration dates, passenger restrictions, routing limitations, fare differences, and other conditions.

Payment of a FarezSphere service fee does not guarantee that an airline will approve or issue a travel credit.

7. Voluntary Flight Cancellation With Monetary Refund

Where a customer voluntarily requests cancellation of a refundable ticket, FarezSphere may charge a separately disclosed professional fee for eligible manual cancellation and refund-processing assistance.

Flight CategoryFarezSphere Service Fee
Domestic EconomyUp to $150 per passenger, per ticket
International EconomyUp to $250 per passenger, per ticket
Domestic Business or First ClassUp to $250 per passenger, per ticket
International Business or First ClassUp to $250 per passenger, per ticket

These are proposed agency service fee maximums, not airline cancellation penalties.

The actual refund amount depends on the applicable fare rules and legal requirements.

Mandatory refund exception: FarezSphere will not impose or retain a service fee that unlawfully reduces a refund required because of an airline-initiated cancellation, qualifying significant schedule change, or another legally protected circumstance.

8. Flight Date Changes, Exchanges and Ticket Reissuance

Where FarezSphere provides eligible manual assistance with a voluntary flight change, the following proposed maximum service fees may apply.

Applicable Ticket ValueFarezSphere Service Fee
Below $1,000Up to $200 per passenger, per ticket
$1,000 or moreUp to 15% of the applicable ticket value, with a minimum of $200, per passenger, per ticket

The applicable fee will be disclosed before authorization.

The customer may also be responsible for airline fare differences, additional taxes, airline penalties, and other supplier charges.

Not every ticket permits changes or exchanges.

9. Same-Day and Urgent Voluntary Flight Changes

Some travelers require urgent assistance shortly before departure.

Where FarezSphere accepts a separately chargeable expedited request, an additional professional service fee of up to $50 per passenger may apply.

This charge is separate from an otherwise applicable voluntary ticket exchange fee.

The expedited charge will be disclosed before authorization.

Urgent assistance does not guarantee flight availability or supplier approval.

10. Airline Waiver Assistance

Certain customers may request exceptions to ordinary airline fare conditions.

Examples include:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Bereavement
  • Exceptional travel disruptions
  • Ticket validity exceptions
  • Certain supplier-controlled restrictions
  • Other eligible circumstances

FarezSphere may assist with reviewing documentation and submitting an eligible waiver request.

Flight CategoryFarezSphere Service Fee
Domestic EconomyUp to $75 per passenger
International EconomyUp to $100 per passenger
Domestic Business or First ClassUp to $100 per passenger
International Business or First ClassUp to $200 per passenger

The airline or applicable supplier retains authority over discretionary waiver decisions.

Payment of a professional assistance fee does not guarantee approval.

11. Complex Flight Reservation Services

Certain post-ticketing matters require substantial research or coordination.

Examples include:

  • Complex multi-airline ticket exchanges
  • Duplicate reservation investigations
  • Permitted passenger name corrections
  • No-show recovery requests
  • Ticket reinstatement inquiries
  • Complex routing modifications
  • Infant ticketing adjustments
  • Eligible medical or bereavement requests
  • Special supplier waiver applications
  • Other complex reservation-servicing work

For eligible separately requested services, a professional fee of $75 to $200 per passenger may apply.

The amount depends on the work required, itinerary complexity, supplier conditions, and urgency.

The exact fee will be disclosed before authorization.

12. Passenger Name Correction Assistance

Airlines may permit certain passenger name corrections, subject to their policies.

FarezSphere may assist with eligible corrections where permitted by the relevant ticketing arrangement.

A proposed professional service fee of $75 to $200 per passenger may apply to separately requested manual correction work.

Any airline or supplier charge is additional.

A name correction is not the same as transferring a ticket to another traveler.

Not all tickets permit name changes or passenger substitutions.

13. No-Show and Ticket Reinstatement Assistance

A no-show may occur when a passenger does not travel on a scheduled flight and fails to cancel or modify the booking within the applicable deadline.

Airline no-show conditions may result in the loss of ticket value or cancellation of remaining segments.

Where a customer requests separate professional assistance researching reinstatement, residual ticket value, available travel credits, or replacement itineraries, a proposed fee of $75 to $200 per passenger may apply.

Payment does not guarantee that the airline will restore the reservation or provide a credit.

14. Airline Schedule Changes and Cancellations

Where an airline changes or cancels a flight, FarezSphere may assist customers with available options associated with eligible reservations made through our platform.

Ordinary assistance necessary to fulfill our existing contractual or legal obligations will not be subject to an additional professional service fee.

Where a customer independently requests substantial customized work beyond those obligations, such as extensive alternative itinerary research or complex voluntary multi-airline restructuring, a separately disclosed fee of up to $100 per passenger may apply.

No fee will be charged where prohibited by applicable law.

Customers retain all applicable airline cancellation, refund, and passenger protection rights.

15. Seat Selection, Meals and Optional Airline Services

Where FarezSphere manually assists with an eligible optional airline service after ticket issuance, a proposed professional service fee of up to $25 per passenger, per request may apply.

Examples may include:

  • Optional seat selection
  • Meal preference requests
  • Frequent-flyer information updates
  • Eligible ancillary purchases
  • Other optional reservation assistance

Airline charges for the underlying optional product are separate.

Accessibility exception: FarezSphere will not charge an additional fee for assistance that must be provided without charge under applicable disability rights or accessibility laws.

Car Rental Post-Booking Service Fees

16. Car Rental Reservation Assistance

FarezSphere provides car rental services through an inquiry and quotation-based process.

A rental inquiry does not become a confirmed reservation until accepted by the applicable provider.

Once a rental has been confirmed, modifications and cancellations are governed by the applicable rental agreement and supplier conditions.

Where separately requested professional assistance is provided, the following proposed agency fees may apply.

17. Car Rental Cancellation Assistance

Service Category FarezSphere Service Fee
Standard eligible rental cancellation Up to $50 per reservation
Restricted, prepaid or specially negotiated rental requiring additional processing Up to $75 per reservation

Any rental-provider cancellation penalty is separate.

Payment of an agency service fee does not make a nonrefundable rental refundable.

18. Car Rental Modification Assistance

For eligible customer-requested modifications, a proposed professional service fee of up to $50 per reservation may apply.

Modifications may involve:

  • Pickup date
  • Return date
  • Pickup location
  • Return location
  • Vehicle category
  • Driver information
  • Other permitted rental details

Additional rental charges, rate differences, or supplier penalties may apply.

19. Complex Car Rental Rebooking

Where a customer requests extensive alternative rental research, replacement bookings, or coordination across multiple suppliers, a professional service fee of up to $100 per reservation may apply.

The fee will be disclosed before authorization.

20. Car Rental No-Show and Special Waiver Assistance

Where a customer requests professional assistance following a rental no-show, a proposed fee of up to $75 per reservation may apply.

For more complex refund, penalty-waiver, or supplier exception requests, a fee of up to $100 per reservation may apply.

The rental provider determines whether the requested exception is available, subject to applicable law.

Cruise Post-Booking Service Fees

21. Cruise Reservation Assistance

FarezSphere provides cruise reservation assistance through an inquiry and quotation-based process.

Cruise operators may establish specific conditions concerning deposits, final payments, cancellation penalties, passenger details, sailing dates, cabin categories, and travel credits.

The following proposed FarezSphere professional service fees are separate from cruise operator charges.

22. Cruise Cancellation Assistance

Total Cruise Booking Value FarezSphere Service Fee
Below $2,500 Up to $100 per cabin
$2,500–$5,000 Up to $150 per cabin
Above $5,000 Up to $250 per cabin

Cruise operators may impose additional cancellation penalties, including loss of deposits or other reservation value.

Mandatory consumer refund rights remain unaffected.

23. Cruise Date, Sailing or Itinerary Changes

Where the cruise operator permits a change to the sailing date, itinerary, ship, or other reservation details, FarezSphere may charge a proposed professional service fee of up to $150 per cabin.

Any additional cruise fare, port charge, tax, or supplier fee is separate.

24. Cruise Cabin Changes and Upgrades

Where a customer requests assistance with an eligible cabin change or upgrade, a professional service fee of up to $75 per cabin may apply.

Any increase in the cruise fare or other supplier charge is additional.

25. Cruise Passenger Information Changes

Where permitted by the cruise operator, FarezSphere may assist with passenger name corrections or other eligible traveler information changes.

A proposed professional service fee of up to $75 per passenger may apply.

Passenger substitutions are not permitted on every cruise reservation.

26. Complex Cruise Rebooking

Where a customer requests substantial restructuring of an existing cruise reservation, a professional service fee of up to $250 per cabin may apply.

Examples include extensive alternative sailing research, multiple itinerary changes, or coordination involving several travel components.

The scope and fee will be disclosed before authorization.

27. Cruise Refund and Future Cruise Credit Assistance

Where a customer requests separately chargeable assistance with a voluntary cruise refund or future cruise credit, a proposed fee of up to $150 per cabin may apply.

For complex waiver requests or substantial supplier coordination, a fee of up to $250 per cabin may apply.

Payment does not guarantee supplier approval.

28. Cruise Special-Circumstance Requests

Customers may request exceptional assistance involving medical emergencies, bereavement, passenger documentation issues, duplicate bookings, or other unusual circumstances.

For substantial, separately requested professional work, a fee of $100 to $250 per cabin may apply.

The actual amount will be disclosed before authorization.

Cruise Reservations: 1-855-271-8025

Additional Fee Conditions

29. Restricted, Bulk and Negotiated Travel Products

Some travel products offered through FarezSphere may originate from consolidators, wholesale channels, negotiated inventory, or other specialized supplier arrangements.

These products may have restrictive change, cancellation, or refund conditions.

Payment of a FarezSphere professional service fee does not modify the underlying supplier's fare or reservation rules.

A restricted fare remains subject to all applicable mandatory passenger and consumer protections.

30. Meaning of “Up To” Fees

Where this policy states that a service fee is “up to” a particular amount, the actual fee charged for the specified service will not exceed the published maximum for that category.

A separate fee may apply only where the customer requests and authorizes a distinct additional service.

The actual applicable amount will be disclosed before payment authorization.

31. Per-Passenger, Per-Ticket, Per-Reservation and Per-Cabin Charges

The fee unit identifies how the professional service charge is calculated.

Per Passenger: A charge applicable to each traveler receiving the specified service.

Per Passenger, Per Ticket: A charge applicable to each relevant ticket for each passenger.

Per Reservation: A charge applicable to the relevant booking being serviced.

Per Cabin: A charge applicable to the relevant cruise cabin.

Customers will be informed of the applicable calculation before authorizing a paid service.

32. Multiple Service Requests

A customer may request more than one distinct post-booking service.

For example, a customer may request cancellation of an existing itinerary and separate research for replacement travel.

Where separate professional fees apply, FarezSphere will identify the services and disclose the relevant charges before obtaining authorization.

We will not impose vague, undisclosed, or duplicate charges for the same work.

33. Refundability of FarezSphere Professional Service Fees

A separately authorized FarezSphere professional service fee may be nonrefundable once the agreed service has been substantially performed, provided that the applicable terms were disclosed and retention is permitted by law.

The outcome of a discretionary airline or supplier request does not by itself determine whether the agreed professional work was performed.

However, if FarezSphere fails to provide an agreed paid service, or a refund is otherwise required by law, the applicable fee will be refunded as required.

No provision of this policy eliminates mandatory refund or consumer protection rights.

34. No Fee for Basic Contact or General Inquiries

Simply contacting FarezSphere, requesting basic reservation information, or asking a general question does not automatically create a professional service charge.

Where a separately charged service is offered, the scope and applicable fee will be explained before the customer authorizes it.

35. Original Booking Authorization

Authorization given for an original flight, car rental, or cruise reservation does not authorize unrelated future charges.

FarezSphere will obtain appropriate additional authorization before processing a separately charged post-booking service.

Customers are not required to purchase optional professional assistance merely because they previously booked travel through FarezSphere.

36. Supplier Approval and Service Outcomes

Some requests require approval from an airline, consolidator, rental provider, or cruise operator.

FarezSphere cannot guarantee approval of discretionary requests, including:

  • Fare-rule waivers
  • Nonrefundable ticket refunds
  • Travel credit extensions
  • Name changes
  • Ticket reinstatements
  • Special rental cancellation exceptions
  • Cruise penalty waivers

The applicable supplier determines the outcome of matters within its authority, subject to governing law.

37. Services for Reservations Made Elsewhere

FarezSphere's ordinary post-booking support is intended for eligible reservations arranged through our services.

We may consider separate travel consultation requests involving reservations made through other providers, but such assistance is not guaranteed.

Where a separate paid consultation is offered, the scope, limitations, and exact fee must be disclosed and affirmatively authorized before work begins.

FarezSphere cannot represent itself as having access to or authority over reservations controlled by another provider unless such access or authority actually exists.

38. Mandatory Refund and Consumer Protection Rights

Nothing in this policy permits FarezSphere to charge fees that are prohibited by applicable law.

Where customers qualify for mandatory refunds or legally required assistance, those rights will be honored.

For qualifying U.S. flight transactions, applicable Department of Transportation refund rules may establish requirements concerning refunds following airline cancellations, significant schedule changes, and other covered circumstances.

Trip Contrast LLC remains responsible for its own legal obligations, including any obligations arising from its role as merchant of record or travel agency.

39. Policy Changes

Trip Contrast LLC may update this Post-Booking & Post-Ticketing Service Fee Policy to reflect changes in business operations, supplier arrangements, or applicable legal requirements.

Updated versions will be published on FarezSphere.com.

Changes will not retroactively authorize new fees or eliminate existing contractual or statutory rights.
